Jack founded Kingwood Capital in 2016 and has over twenty-five years of experience in international investment banking providing advice to corporate clients on debt raisings, project and acquisition financing, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and derivatives.

 

Prior to founding Kingwood Capital, Jack was a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital and the Macquarie Funds Group for 7 years. He previously worked for investment banks Close Brothers and William Blair in London, was part of the Macquarie Bank team that set up and raised capital for a new debt investment platform and founded an independent capital advisory boutique Matilda Finance in 2013.

 

Through his career in London and Perth, Jack has a deep experience across sources of capital from private and public equities to commercial bank loans, asset backed finance, bonds, private placements and project finance in refinancing, acquisition, disposal and restructuring transactions across multiple global capital markets. Jack has successfully advised on more than 50 transactions with a combined value in excess of $25bn.

Jack has worked with clients across multiple sectors including leading international and Australian mining clients.  

 

Jack has an MA and a BA in Mathematics from Oxford University and holds corporate finance qualifications from the FSA (CF30) and the SEC (Series 7).
